September 21st

When I asked the boys where they wanted their birthday party this year, Cameron and Charlie both said Pump It Up and Nicholas said bowling. Well when you are a triplet you learn the 2/3 rule early in life and you have to go with the vote that has 2. So I booked a party at Pump It Up. The only available time was 4:45 on Sunday afternoon. This worked out well since Richard could not get off work. We decided to serve pizza, cupcakes and ice cream. So we invited all their friends from preschool and they each got to invite one friend from their current class. Pump It Up has always been a favorite of ours and it extremely fun for the adults and children. That is until some breaks their arm - yep I said breaks their arm. Who could it be other than one of the birthday boys themselves - Cameron. Such a strong boy he did not want to leave the party so he just nursed his arm until the party ended and then he and I ran off to the hospital for x-rays and a splint. Now I guess this is one of those moments that we will always remember that Cameron broke his arm at his 6th birthday party. Oh how I wish I had gone with Nicholas's idead of bowling!

September 19th

It was 6 years ago that my world was turned upside down and flipped sideways. This was also the day the my heart started beating on the outside of my body. It actually started beating in 3 of the most special boys in the world. After many years of trying to conceive and a very hard and trying pregnancy Charlie, Cameron and Nicholas came into this world. Arriving a few months early and on the little side - they stayed in the hospital for a couple of months. This is when I learned what pain was for the first time. Having to leave the hospital without your babies as they continue to fight for their lives is one of the hardest things I will ever have to do. They overcame many obstacles and came home very strong and vibrant little boys.

Over the next 6 years there have been some many changes in our lives it was not even funny. We went from a couple to a family of five in one day. It was quite a difference. We had to hire a private nanny and we became people who could live on very little sleep. At age 3 the boys started preschool and loved it. This year they started kindergarten. So unbelivable to me that it has been 6 years since my life became 3 times as important.

Motherhood is an AWESOME thing!

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY Birthday Charlie, Cameron & Nicholas!

September 15th

Guess what this is? It is my first time to get a note from my child..... Now I will give you $1.00 if you can read it to me. I started to decipher it and then had Cameron come down to help translate. It says " Dear Mom I hope you had a great day - Love Cameron"

Now how long do you think it took me to cry - yep about 30 seconds!!

September 12th

Since the boys started kindergarten - there is a new "light" system for behavior. If you do as you are told and have no problems then you stay on green light. Then as your behavior worsens it moves from yellow to red (orange in Charlie's class is a level too). So the goal for us everyday is green light. If the boys makes it on green light each week then on Friday we let them decide where or what we are going to eat - all except for Mom since I am doing nutrisystem. So this week all three boys stayed on green all week so Cameron told me that he got to go to the treasure box and below is what he chose. Not real sure the whole excitement was but this noise maker was his choice. Then Nicholas told me that he got a sucker of course no picture of that since he ate it already. Then Charlie said "Mom you know what I got out of the treasure box?" I said no, what. He said "nothing - we don't have a treasure box." In one sense I felt bad for him and another I almost laughed until I peed. They are all getting their personalities in strong right now.

September 10th

Today after picking up the boys from school we were riding over to get McDonald's (Richard was working late and I just had my last injection in my back = Mom does not want to cook). So in the car is always were we have the best conversations with the boys. Cameron suddenly comes out of the blue and says "There were some guys who did not want to live with God and they flew 2 airplanes into 2 towers and lots of people could not get out so they died". So I asked him where he heard it and he said Mrs. Beck. I was totally shocked at how grown up these kids are. I seriously got tears in my eyes just remembering the devastation that happened on 9/11 and then the fact my boys are having to learn about the evilness in this world. Breaks my heart to think about them growing up so fast...

September 7th

The fall season is our busiest season for birthday parties. It seems that every weekend we have birthday parties - great for the boys. Today we went to Pump It Up for another former preschool friend's birthday party - Chloe - also known as Nicholas's girlfriend. Nicholas even came into the bathroom to check his hair before leaving for the party, how cute is that?
They wore themselves out jumping, had some pizza and cake and then left happy. We miss all of our old preschool friends.

September 6th

Today was an awesome day for the boys. We had been invited to Caroline and Kate's birthday party. This was their group of friends from Crestline Early Learning Center. They were so excited to see all their old friends. Chloe's mom told me that she wakes up and sayd she dreams of Nicholas - how sweet is that? We were able to see Rachel -Charlie's girlfriend. Then the party was over and Thomas invited the boys to come over and play so we headed over to Robert and Beverly's and watched the Auburn game (WAR EAGLE) while the boys played together. This was such a fun day!!
