May 20th

So now that the weather is warm - my flowers have began to bloom around the house. I would never say I have a green thumb but I do like to try. I thought these blooms were some of the prettiest in the yard.

May 17th

Today our family went to the birthday party of a beautiful girl - Anna. It was her third birthday and she celebrated it at Pump It Up. The boys always adore going to parties there and as a parent I adore them to because it wears them out :)

May 16th

Today was a very difficult day for me. This week I lost a friend that really meant a great deal to me. When I started work back in 1999 at Vulcan I joined the team of PeopleSoft support that included Donald Chow. He was also a PeopleSoft developer and had been working for Vulcan for many years. He took me under his wing and taught me the Vulcan ropes. He was a very smart man and one that was willing to share his knowledge with me. He became like a brother to me over the next few years. When you work next to someone for 9 years you almost know them better than your family. I know I cared for him as if he was my family. He stood by me through many challenges and we tried to give advice to each other through many experiences we both had. Donald was from Taiwain and I remember as his boys grew up he would ask me questions trying to understand the slang of America. He always wanted to make sure his boys were behaving. I remember him asking me "If booger was a bad word" he did not want his kids saying something that was wrong.

Well back in the fall- my friend Donald was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. We knew this would be a difficult fight for him - but Donald had awesome faith and belief and started within days receiving treatment and working to beat this cancer. My heart broke this week when I learned that Donald lost his battle early Tuesday morning. Today was his funeral. I think I cried for 3 hours straight. I ask for you to continue to pray his family - Anita, Wesley and Jeremy.

I will never forget him and he will always hold a special place in my heart.

May 15th

So today while Richard kept the boys out of school - he decided to take the boys in and have their pictures made. I think that the pictures speak for themselves and require very little blog tonight. I think I have the most handsome boys around...

May 2nd - Shopping

So after spending time on the beach we all loaded up and went shopping. The boys really do enjoy going to stores. These stores at the beach always have unbelievable things inside the stores. How many 5 year olds can you take to a store and they not ask for anything? Only 3 that I know of and those are my little boys.

May 2nd

When you go to the beach with 3 beautiful boys picking which pictures to blog is VERY difficult. But I was able to pick a few from playing on the beach. We were able to spend the day on the beach playing in the sand. The boys loved it - the ocean was still a little too cold for comfort but the sun was perfect.

Charlie got knocked over by a wave while digging in the sand, he was not happy.

May 1st

With the boys starting school in the Fall we decided to get in one last vacation during school time while the beach would not be so crowded. We decided to head back down to Panama City Beach and stay at the condos - The Boardwalk- as we loved our trip last time. So we scheduled our trip and invited Grandmommy and found out once again while we were there it was going to be Thunderbeach (motorcycle rally). So we got settled in on the first day and the boys could not wait to show off their new swimming skills that they have been learning with Coach John. The weather was beautiful and it was a great first day at the beach.
