March 28th

During my time away for a girls trip - Richard took the boys to go see their Grandmother and another trip to the Montgomery Zoo. They drive down to Lake Jordan and picked up Grandmommy and they made the trip to the zoo. The boys love going to any zoo but I honestly believe that Montgomery Zoo is their favorite. The time they spent with their grandmommy helps too. They adore her! Since Mommy was away I was very happy to know that they were still spending quality time with Daddy and Grandmommy.

Happy Easter!! The boys got new bikes from the Easter Bunny. They were so excited. So we took the boys outside and let them ride them in the court. They had outgrown their tricycles and look like such big boys on their new bikes. Can you believe how big they are getting?

March 20th

Richard joined the boys today for swim lessons. The boys have been taking lessons every week for almost a year now. They are becoming great swimmers. Coach John works so well with the boys and gives them a lot of courage in the pool. We are so excited that the boys enjoy swimming and have become so good at this at such an early age.

Is this not the coolest picture of Charlie practicing his backstroke.

Cameron - our little concentrator.

Nicholas has a little difficult with swimming on his back. He sinks a little more than the others - could it be ALL that muscle.

Just because our life is not crazy enough we had added a few more family members. Our fish had sadly passed on to a better life so I asked the pet store what was an easy thing to keep in a 20 gallon aquarium. These little fellows won the prize. So I brought home some fire bellied toads and green tree frogs. Well what do frogs eat? Crickets... So now we have a cricket feast every few days which the boys are thoroughly enjoying. Boys will be boys..

One of the green tree frogs. This one is known to us as "The anorexic tree frog" because it is so skinny.

Every Tuesday afternoon at school the boys go to the library for story time. It really is a cool time for the class and they get to experience many different things there. Today was pirate day and they read a story about pirates. They also got to eat snack there - colored Rice Krispie Treats. They then dressed each child as a pirate - luckily using washable markers for the moustaches. Here are our three pirates.

What do you do when your 5 year old son asks you to make the dish with Broccoli, Rice and Meat? Well you cook it! Richard makes outstanding Beef and Broccoli and it has become one of Charlie's favorite meals. So when he requested it we stopped at the store and bought the ingredients and made the dinner. Charlie was actually dancing through the kitchen with excitement.

With the trip to Montgomery- you can not miss going to the Montgomery Zoo. When Richard and the boys got up at Grandmommy's house they got dressed and went to the Zoo on their was out of town. I thought this first picture of my boys was AWESOME!!

When the boys talked to the cougars they came over to them to greet them. And who says the Knechts are not cat people?

The boys in their hats! The hotdogs might not have been good but the hats were worth the price.

March 6th

Richard has been looking for some day trips to take with the boys and find some things to let the boys experience. So after looking he found the SouthEastern Cattlemans Association Rodeo. It was located in Montgomery so he called Grandmommy and asked if she would like to join them and if he could spend the night with the boys there afterwards. We then found out Aunt Amy would be in town and she would join them. So Daddy, Grandmommy, Aunt Amy, Charlie, Cameron and Nicholas all enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Rodeo.

March 3rd

Tonight while I was drying Charlie's hair - he asked me the simple question "Mom can you touch your nose with your tongue?" So I tried and nope I could not. So of course we called Daddy in bathroom and asked if he could do it? Nope he could not. So then we asked Cameron and Nicholas and they could not either. So today we discovered one of Charlie's new found talents. Now how many of you can touch your nose with your tongue?

Happy Birthday to Baylee! We traveled down to Prattville to celebrate my niece's 7th birthday. The boys always have a good time playing with her and we love being able to attend each other's special events. It was such fun.. Here are some pics from the party.
