February 23rd

Daddy had another weekend off so we planned a day trip to Desoto Caverns in Childersburg, AL. The weather channel did say it would be cool but - it turned out to be a little colder than we planned. Thank goodness in the cavern it is 60 degrees year round. Jenny, Baylee and Ella drove up from Prattville and joined us. We had a very good time with the cavern tour, digging for crystals, the maze, and panning for gemstones. We made some great memories with this family outing. The entire Knecht Family in front of the entrance to Desoto Caverns.

L-R.. Baylee, Cameron, Charlie, and Nicholas on the bridge on our way in.

The Knechts inside the cavern - thank goodness for the warm tour :)

Since as far back as I can remember Baylee and Charlie have bonded. They were holding hands throughout the tour,

Jenny, Cameron, Charlie, Baylee, Nicholas, Kristi and baby Ella.

Richard and Baylee panning for gemstones. Gosh that water was COLD!
